Online Private School vs. Traditional School Tuition Costs

As a result, private virtual education provides a more affordable alternative while maintaining high-quality instruction and personalized learning opportunities.
Our Payment Plans
We offer three different payment plans for Summit Learning Institute® Virtual School:
- Payment Plan A-1: one full tuition payment that covers an 18-week semester of study (6 courses per semester ); this is a full-time learning option for 1 semester
- Payment Plan A-2: one full tuition payment that covers 2 consecutive 18-week semesters of study (12 courses per year); this is a full-time learning option for 1 year
- Payment Plan B: one full tuition payment that covers an 18-week semester of study (up to 3 courses per semester); this is a part-time learning option
- Summer School: one full tuition payment that covers a 9-week semester of study (up to 3 courses during the summer); this is a part-time learning option

Note: All tuition + registration fee payments for Plan A-1, Plan A-2, Plan B, and Summer School are required ONLY after the $50 application fee has been paid AND the family has received a formal, written acceptance letter from SLIVS's Admissions and Enrollment Team.
Our Payment Options & Fees
We offer the following online payment options through PayPal: PayPal, Venmo, Pay Later, Apple Pay, and Debit/Credit Card. PayPal Pay Later, also known as Paypal Credit or PayPal Financing, allows customers to spread their payments over time rather than paying the full amount upfront.
All tuition and registration fee payments are due at the time of registration.
- A non-refundable registration fee of $150 is charged at the time of registration. This registration fee is required for course enrollment for a semester or year of study.
- A non-refundable fee of $50 is required before you submit your online application for admission.
- Additional fees and costs may apply after course enrollment. Reference Terms of Service below in the webpage footer for more details.

Families can leverage student or parent loans to help cover tuition costs by securing private educational loans through qualified lenders that offer flexible repayment options tailored to their financial needs.
Parents can apply for public and private scholarships to help cover tuition costs by researching scholarship opportunities, meeting eligibility requirements, and submitting applications through providers' websites.
