SLIVS Student Learning Experience

"The World Is Your Classroom!"

Students who attend an online school are often told, "the world is your classroom!" They have the flexibility in their day to attend events and participate in an experiential learning experience that go beyond the 'brick-and-mortar" physical classroom. Students can extend their learning by taking field trips to museums and aquariums, attending plays, participating in conferences, hearing from renowned speakers, attending sports and performing arts rehearsals, visiting local and regional colleges, traveling nationally and internationally, and more! All of these student experiences are in the name of learning. This why people often say to students who receive a virtual education "the world is your classroom!"
